Marilhea Peillard as Alysanne Mormont

Alysanne Mormont, also known as the Lady Bear or Aly in closer company, is the daughter of Maege Mormont and some unknown partner. She is the second oldest in a family of five daughers, the eldest being Lady Dacey Mormont, and those younger being Lady Lyra, Jorelle, and Lyanna Mormont. Though it is Princess Visenya Targaryen she counts as a true sister, and is set to follow in her mother's footsteps when it comes to purpose as she has vowed to protect the future Queen with her life in being her future Queen's Captain. She is played by Jaz on A Thousand Eyes and One.

Appearance and Character Edit

Alysanne is by no means a small woman, or even an average woman, standing at 6'2 flat footed and anywhere from 6'3 to 6'5 when wearing her boot she stands at least a head and shoulders over Visenya's other Lady's and even a head over some knights. Still, it is not an awkward height as she fills it out well with long lean muscle, her body honed to a lethality that does not fit well in the silk dresses she is forced to wear on occassion, but perfectly in trousers and her leather armor. It is a rare thing, for her to be called beautiful because she is not in a conventional way perhaps handsome is a more common words. Still, there are some who would, with her long face and sharp features there is a softness in her full lips and deep brown eyes that can seem to look straight into the soul of a person, with hair dark as a bears flowing in thick wild waves to her waist there appears to be a wild elegance to her, a sort of laughing grace mixed with an eerie stillness that marks her wholly of the North, even after all these years.

A fact that burns true even in her character. The woman is as feirce as her mother ever was and stubborn as any bear. When she sets her mind to something Aly is an immovable force - from her wish not to wed, to her desire to never leave her charges side. Some would call her harsh, her voice gruff and almost always near a growl, and uncaring, as it appears she has no care for what anyone thinks, but underneath is a warmth that drives her. A warmth marked by a primal protectiveness for her family and those she believes worthy, a warmth that drives her to do whatever she can to keep those people happy.
